Here In My Home

Came across this song a few days ago, been listening to it over and over again since.
Crap! Now I miss home more than ever. Can't wait for the 10th to come, flying right back to KL on SIA from London.

Meanwhile a little bit about the song, it's by this bunch of M'sian artistes calling themselves M'sian Artistes For Unity, singing about love, hope and home while displaying racial unity. Quite a cool song actually, just a small bit cheesy, quite a cool video as well. Some local actors, celebrities, corporate figures, etc. appear in the video along with the singers. Tony Fernandez looks retarded in the video, but thumbs up to him for supporting the effort. Ning Baizura's voice was outstanding me thought, as well as Jaclyn Victor and Reshmonu and the rapping part was class albeit lasting just a few minutes. Awie's voice was unmissable, Jason Lo was wearing the M'sian football jersey and Harith Iskandar pulls off some cool dance moves. Cheers to Pete Teo for coming up with the whole thing. After listening to this song, was reminded of all the nice things about home: the people, the food, the culture, the weather. If only the idiots in power weren't messing things up for everyone. Sigh...
